PRV8 is a coaching platform where athletes work with the coach they choose between practices: CLIPS video feedback, LESN lessons, MNTR mentorship, EDGE AI training plans, the free JRNL training journal, and Formula volleyball stats for teams. Coaches set their own prices and keep 100% of them.

Coaches on PRV8 cover volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, soccer, football, baseball, softball, tennis, track & field, swimming, gymnastics, lacrosse, hockey, golf, wrestling, and more. Use the sport filter on Find a Coach to see who coaches yours.

Use prv8.app to create your account, browse coaches, subscribe to CLIPS or MNTR, and manage billing. Use the PRV8 app to send clips, read feedback, book and attend lessons, follow your EDGE plan, write in JRNL and message your coach. Lessons can be booked in either place.

Subscriptions to a coach are sold on prv8.app so that app-store fees never come out of your coach’s price. Lessons and group sessions can be booked on the web or in the app, and EDGE is sold through the App Store and Google Play.

A monthly subscription to one coach. You upload short clips from practice or games and your coach sends back specific corrections, with cues drawn on the video, that stay in the app for you to rewatch.

Each coach sets their own price between $10 and $200 a month and chooses which tiers to offer: Starter (10 clips a month), Growth (20) or Elite (50). The price on the coach’s profile is what you pay, plus the service fee shown at checkout.

Fifteen to thirty seconds of one skill, filmed from the side or behind so the coach can see your footwork and contact. Add the one question you want answered.

Most coaches reply within 24–48 hours. Turnaround is set by each coach, not enforced by PRV8.

They do not roll over. Your clip count resets at the start of each billing period.

Yes, anytime from your account page. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and every piece of feedback you have received stays in the app.

CLIPS is asynchronous video feedback on a monthly subscription. LESN is a live lesson, in person or virtual, that you book for a specific time and pay for at booking.

By card through Stripe when you book, at the coach’s listed rate. Small-group lessons (2v1 to 4v1) share the coach’s group rate.

Lesson cancellations follow the coach’s cancellation window. Cancelled in time, the lesson price returns to the athlete as PRV8 account credit that applies automatically to their next booking; the service fee is not refunded. Inside the window, the coach’s policy decides whether partial or no credit is issued. If the coach cancels or doesn’t show, the athlete gets the full amount back as credit, including the service fee, and can move any credit to their card for a $3 processing fee.

A monthly mentorship program with one coach. Every tier includes unlimited CLIPS feedback, scheduled check-ins, goal tracking and priority messaging; Hybrid and Elite add in-person lessons.

Virtual (unlimited CLIPS plus two virtual lessons a month), Hybrid (adds one in-person lesson a month) and Elite (four virtual and three in-person lessons a month). Some coaches offer custom packages instead.

Your coach. Each coach prices their own tiers or custom packages, and PRV8 takes none of it.

Yes. Mentorship renews monthly. Move tiers with your coach or cancel from your account; the program runs to the end of the period you paid for.

An AI training system in the PRV8 app. Every morning you answer five quick questions, EDGE scores your readiness, and it builds that day’s workout, nutrition, recovery and mental plan around it.

EDGE is $29.99 a month after a one-week free trial. Athletes with an active CLIPS or MNTR subscription pay $15 a month.

Yes. JRNL is free with any PRV8 account. Download the app and start writing after your next practice.

The prompts are written by AI and assigned at random each session so reflection never feels repetitive. Every athlete draws from the same set; they are not written for your sport or goals.

Coaches set their own prices and PRV8 takes none of it. Athletes pay a 4% + $1 service fee on top of the coach’s price, shown at checkout before you pay. It covers payment processing and the platform.

No. Your coach’s full price transfers to their own Stripe account. PRV8 is paid by the service fee and by the plans coaches choose.

From your account page on prv8.app you can see every active subscription, update your card, and cancel. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Sign up free at prv8.app/coaches. Create your profile, connect Stripe when you are ready to get paid, and start selling lessons the same day.

Starter is free and covers lessons, group sessions, scheduling, messaging and payouts. Coach ($15/mo) adds CLIPS subscriptions. Mentor ($30/mo) adds MNTR programs and priority placement in athlete search. PRV8 takes 0% of your price on every plan.

Lesson payments transfer to your Stripe account when the lesson completes; subscriptions transfer each billing period. Payouts to your bank run weekly.
